Other than basic information about you (such as name, email address, financial information in order to process your orders, preferences (which downloads you have requested, browsing habits at our site based on the use of cookies – which of course you can block), etc. we do not collect any sensitive information about you.
We may process or share your personal data without your knowledge or consent where this is required or permitted by law.
You always have the option of unsubscribing from the newsletter or other correspondence.
By using third party professional services companies (such as PayPal or Mailchimp) we aim to achieve a level of data security at more than acceptable industry standards.

Fiction vs Non-fiction

Where is the line between fiction and non-fiction? If a story really happened, but names and locations and circumstances have been changed enough to “protect the innocent” (who perhaps haven’t given permission for their story to be told) then at what point does the truth start to blur into fiction, if enough protective adjustments are made? And of course, science has shown that memory is imperfect, even at the best of times.
Therefore please treat these stories as fiction, and note that any similarity to anyone living or dead is purely coincidental.

Fairness

The author believes in fairness, the right to choose, and equal opportunity. No discrimination of any form is ever intended by the stories or discussions that appear on this website. Stories may reflect a specific gender, for example, and discussions may say “he said” or “her boyfriend”, but no exclusivity is intended and alternative genders including non-binary choices may be freely assumed.
